Purchasing credits
Buy credit packs from the Billing page, or let auto top-up refill your balance.
Credits are bought in packs. They’re one-time purchases, not a subscription, and they never expire. Your balance is shared by every site in your team.

How to buy
- Open Billing from the sidebar.
- Stay on the Credits tab.
- Pick a pack.
- Click Purchase to go to Stripe Checkout.
- Pay with a card or any other method Stripe offers in your country, such as Apple Pay or Google Pay.
- You’re returned to PageFork with the credits added to your balance.
Which pack should I pick?
A rough guide:
- Exploring: 100 credits. You’ll know quickly whether PageFork fits your workflow.
- One launch: 300 credits usually covers a full site end to end, with rework. It’s marked Popular.
- Agencies and several sites: 750 or 2000 credits for the best per-credit rate.
Auto top-up
Auto top-up buys a pack for you when your balance runs low, so a long editing session never stops at zero. It’s off until you turn it on.
- On Billing → Credits, find the Auto top-up card.
- Under Refill with, pick the pack to buy.
- Under When below, set the balance that triggers a refill (anything from 1 to 5000 credits).
- Click Turn on.
When your balance drops below the threshold, PageFork charges your saved card for that pack and adds the credits. Each refill gets an invoice like any other purchase.
- At most two refills per calendar month. The card shows how many you’ve used. After the second, you can still buy packs by hand.
- It needs a saved card: your default card in the Stripe portal, or the card one of your site plans is charged to. A card from an earlier credit purchase works too.
- It pauses itself if the card is declined or no card is saved, and the Billing page says which. For a declined card, update it in the Stripe portal. With no card, buy one pack by hand and that card is kept for refills. Then click Turn on again.
Change the pack or threshold any time and click Save, or click Turn off.
Invoices
Every purchase, including automatic top-ups, gets an invoice. Download it from Billing → Credits → Payments. See Invoices and payments.
Transactions
Billing → Credits → Transactions lists every change to your balance: purchases, usage, bonuses and refunds, with the balance after each one. Handy for spotting unusual spikes.
