Media library

Upload, browse, and reuse files across your organization — images, videos, documents, and more.

The media library is your organization’s shared file storage in PageFork. Every file you upload from the chat composer or the Library page is saved here, tagged by type and optionally linked to a site. You can browse, filter, preview, download, and delete files — or pick them again when composing a message.

Open it from the sidebar: Media → Library.

Upload files

Three ways to add files:

  • Click Upload files on the Library page.
  • Drag and drop files anywhere on the Library page.
  • Attach files in the site editor chat (see File uploads).

Supported types match the chat composer: images, videos, audio, documents, and other allowed file types. Size limits are the same as chat uploads (for example, 5 MB for images, 50 MB for videos).

When the Site filter is set to a specific site, new uploads from the Library page are tagged to that site. With All sites selected, uploads are organization-wide.

Browse and filter

Use the toolbar above the grid to narrow what you see:

  • Search — match by filename.
  • Type — All types, Images, Videos, Audio, Documents, or Other.
  • Site — All sites, or files linked to one site.

The grid paginates automatically when you have many files.

Preview, download, and delete

Click a file card to:

  • Preview images, videos, audio, and PDFs in a lightbox.
  • Download other file types directly.

Use the ⋯ menu on a card to download or delete. Deleting removes the file from your library and storage — it does not automatically remove the file from a published site if it was already placed there.

Reuse files in chat

When editing a site, click + below the composer and choose Add Photos & Files → Select from Media Library. Pick a file and PageFork inserts its URL as a badge in your message — the same as a fresh upload.

The picker supports the same search and filters as the Library page. When opened from a site editor, the site filter is prefilled to that site.

Generated images

Images you create on the Images page (see AI image generation) are also saved to the media library automatically, so you can reuse them in later prompts or download them from Library.
