Sign-in methods

Email + password, Google, or Apple — use what fits you.

PageFork supports three ways to sign in. You pick one at sign-up; you can use the same email for multiple methods as long as they match.

Email and password

  • Sign up on the register page with your name, email, and a password that meets the strength rules below.
  • You’ll receive a verification email — click the link to activate your account.
  • After verifying, you can sign in from the login page.

Strong password rules (required at sign-up and reset):

  • At least 8 characters.
  • At least one uppercase letter.
  • At least one lowercase letter.
  • At least one number.
  • At least one special character.

Google

Click Continue with Google on the sign-up or sign-in page. You’ll be asked to grant PageFork access to your Google profile (just name + email, nothing else). On the first sign-in, a PageFork account is created; on later sign-ins, you’re logged straight in.

If you signed up with Google and later want an email/password method too, use the Forgot password flow with the same email to set a password.

Apple

Click Continue with Apple. Same as Google — PageFork only sees your name and email. If you choose Hide My Email, PageFork receives Apple’s relay address; all our emails still reach your real inbox.

reCAPTCHA

Sign-up and sign-in use Google reCAPTCHA v3 to prevent abuse. It’s invisible; you won’t see puzzles. Occasionally a very unusual network can trigger a challenge — try again from a normal network if that happens.

Email verification

New accounts must verify their email before they can do anything significant. The verification email arrives within a minute or two; if you don’t see it:

  • Check the spam folder.
  • Make sure the email address you entered is correct.
  • Click Resend on the verify page if available, or sign up again.

Switching between methods

You can sign in with whichever method matches your account email:

  • If you signed up with Google, Google + email/password (after setting one via reset) both work.
  • If you signed up with Apple using the relay, you can only sign in via Apple unless you also contact support to set a usable email.
