Model tiers
Choose Standard, Advanced, or Premium for each generation and edit — trade quality for credit cost.
PageFork lets you pick a model tier for every generation and edit: Standard (default), Advanced, or Premium. Higher tiers usually produce stronger results and cost more credits for the same amount of work.
The selector sits in the chat composer — on the homepage before you generate, and inside the site editor for every message after that.
The three tiers

Relative cost comes from how credits are calculated for that tier. A short edit on Standard might stay near the 1-credit minimum; the same edit on Premium can cost several times more. See Credits explained.
How to change the tier
- Open the homepage composer or a site’s chat panel.
- Click the tier pill next to the attachment controls (it shows the current name — Standard, Advanced, or Premium).
- Pick the tier you want. The next Generate / send uses that model.
Your choice is remembered in this browser:
- On the homepage, for the next new site you create.
- Per site in the editor, so each project can stay on its own tier.
Changing the tier does not rewrite past versions. It only affects the next AI run.
When to use each
Stay on Standard for most work — first generations, small copy tweaks, layout nudges, and questions. It’s the best credit-per-result default.
Switch to Advanced when Standard keeps missing the brief: complex multi-section layouts, nuanced brand voice, or sites with many pages that need to stay consistent.
Use Premium sparingly for the one or two prompts that define the site — the first generation of a launch page, a full visual redesign, or a rewrite you’re about to publish. Then drop back to Standard for polish.
What model tier does not control
- Image generation — quality and size for AI images are separate. See AI image generation.
- Hosting or publishing — tier only affects AI runs, not your live site.
- Undo / Redo — still free; they don’t re-run the model.
Tips
- Generate on Advanced or Premium if the first pass needs to nail structure and tone, then iterate on Standard.
- Prefer asking a question before a big Premium rewrite — answers are usually cheaper than edits.
- Don’t raise the tier to “make it better” without a clearer prompt. A vague request on Premium still wastes credits. See Writing great prompts.
